Steam Deck status
When checked on August 15, 2026, Steam listed Probably Stolen as Unknown for Steam Deck compatibility. It did not have a Verified or Playable label. A developer reply in the linked Steam discussion said native Steam Deck support had not yet been implemented and gave no release date for it.
That leaves the game in a wait-and-check state for Deck owners. The System Requirements & PC Status guide has the official Windows minimum requirements if you are deciding where to play.
The one reported workaround
One player reported selecting Keyboard → Mouse Emulation before launch, using the Deck trackpad for pointing and clicking. This is a single player report. It does not establish native controller support, a Deck-specific interface, or a complete controller-only playthrough.
The game’s reported lottery interaction also needs right-click and click-and-hold input. If you try the Playtest on Deck, check the current Steam Input choices and the prompts the game actually shows before committing to a longer session.
What remains open
No checked source confirms controller button prompts, readable handheld text, a recommended Deck resolution, or reliable completion of every shop interaction. If Deck is your only device, wait for a store-status change, a newer developer statement, or a current player test with clear build details.
